The disclosure most publishers bury
These guides are published by the company that sells the product they mention. That is a conflict of interest, and the honest response to it is a rule rather than a promise: CDLScan is only ever described as an additional layer on top of the checks federal rules require, never as a replacement for one. If you find a sentence here that reads otherwise, it is a mistake and we want to hear about it.

What it is not
- Legal advice. It describes how rules work; your counsel decides what you do.
